White Wine Making
White wine is just a term! If you observe, then the actual white wine is not at all white, but it is yellow in color. However, people throughout world accept the color as white and not yellow. The process of white wine making or vinification of white wine is more complex and time consuming than the vinification of red wine.

The following are the two major methods involved in the process of white wine making
1)Usage of white grapes: Before you begin the process of white wine making, make sure that you select a bunch of white grapes. White grapes are not white, they just appear to be white. In fact, the white grapes, as we know, are yellowish in color or greenish yellow, pinkish yellow, or even golden yellow. White wine is the result of fermentation of white grapes’ juice or their extracts.
2)The second method is kind of composite. The extracts are from red grapes, but if care is not taken, then there are great chances of your wine not becoming white. However, this usually happens when care is taken and certain measures are observed. The Basic and Easy Procedure of

White Wine Making
1)Harvest Time: During this time, the grapes are plucked when they are ripe, and selected for wine making
2)Crushing Through Stemmer: Grapes should go under this stemmer crusher in order to get crushed. This procedure eliminates stems from bunches. After this, grapes are crushed and are exposed to yeast for fermenting process
3)Time Period: Grapes are crushed and are stored in the form of juice in a large container. More grapes are added and the juice is settled down in various large containers in the cellar or in basement, depending on the maker’s decision. The time is very important as the juice should be kept for long in order to make juice into a wine. This happens only when yeast covers the gamut of juice
4)Squeezing: Press, squeeze the grapes and juice will come out of the pomace. When you do this, always remember that you should not press or squeeze hard because when you do, the essence will be lost and you will get a tasteless wine. To get a true wine and the most quality wine, you must press gently and allow the juice to mix
5)Fermentation: First, the yeast turns sugar present in grapes into wine. Before turning it into wine, it turns into carbon dioxide

After fermentation, the following procedure takes place:
- Pumping
- Wine Settlement
- Oak Aging
- Racking
- Malo-Lactic Fermentation
- Fining and Filtering
- Bottling
